From the first email I knew this wedding was going to be something special. Located just out of Echuca, Victoria, Kate and Joel had created a fantasy wedding from scratch in the middle of no-where! Every DIY detail, every flower, every light, every single moment and piece of the day was thoroughly thought out, and perfectly executed, all done by hand by themselves and their gorgeous family and friends.

They chose to plan out the day a little non-traditional, a quick ‘first look’ in all the bridal attire at the beginning of the day, a quick outfit change and a couple of smile filled hours spent with their guests enjoying the canapés and champagne flowing from the food truck. A stealthy sneak off to change back into that gorgeous bridal gown and then the ceremony began, situated right along the gorgeous Murray River. One bridesmaid and 3 groomsman, another beautiful little non traditional touch I loved!

Then they where hitched! With all the formalities done, it was time get stuck into that delicious food.. and of course a few more drinks followed by dancing the night away.. The weather gods were looking out for them gifting them with a perfect Melbourne day + night (and we all know how rare they are!) The entire day was perfection and I was incredibly honoured to be apart of it!
